                                                                    Banquet Form

     This year’s banquet will be held on Saturday, May 13th.  Based on the success of last year’s banquet (held at Miller Brewery in Milwaukee) it seemed logical to pick a similar venue for this year.  Capital Brewery of Middleton, WI (rated America’s #1 Brewery) will proudly host this year’s event.  The brewery is a wonderful setting for casual events and social gatherings.  The facility has a large outdoor Bier Garten (complete with a stage) as well as an indoor Bier Stube (bar).  Capital currently brews 15 different beers and has received awards (both national and internationally) for its products.  I encourage you to visit their web site (http://www.capital-brewery.com/).  I will also arrange for a tour of the brewery by the brewmaster himself (Kirby Nelson).

·        There is ample parking in and around the brewery.

·        There is lodging, restaurants and shopping within a 1 mile of the brewery.  I will be checking with various hotels to see if we can get special rates.

·        The Famous Club Tavern, Middleton, will cater the food.  The menu will include beef or chicken.

       I am particularly excited to announce that Tyrol Basin Ski Patrol’s own “MUD Music” will provide an interesting mix of folk, classic rock, blues, country and bluegrass music. Bob Dylan, Woody Guthrie, Neil Young and the Irish Rovers won’t be there… but their music will.

Finally for those of you that may want to make a day of it, I am looking into making golf reservations at the nearby Pleasant View Golf Club (http://www.golfpleasantview.com/). Please indicate your interest in golf on your reservation form.
