If you have a small group of snowboard patrollers in your area I'll be glad to set up a Snowboard Enhancement seminar for you at your hill. These are day long sessions were we ride, get video analysis, get feedback on technique, discuss snowboarding problems and come away with things to work on in the future. They can be at your hill or at a centrally located hill.

A coach for the National Ski team recently said “…it takes 1,000 repetitions for an athlete to master a skill.”  The average patroller is lucky to get in 500 runs during a year.  You can only focus on one or two elements in a run.  If you’re good, you’ll do it right once or twice mixed with some not so good efforts.  That means its going to take you at least two years to master a technique.  Assuming you know what to fix.

I've taken AASI training classes and exams over the last few years that have helped me with my riding issues. I don’t know everything and can't promise to fix your issues overnight but am more than willing to pass on what I know. There's a number of other AASI trained instructors and patrollers in the area I'll be glad to put you in touch with. Don’t waste two years trying to fix something only to find you're doing it all wrong in the first place.  I wish I would've known some of the things I know now earlier.
