Snowboarding

Increase your enjoyment

I snowboard because I enjoy it.  What I don’t enjoy is skidding around, not being able to turn when I want and being thrown off balance.  So, I go to Snowboard Enhancement seminars to fix those problems.  The next one is January 24th, at Alpine Valley.  I hope you’ll join me.

A coach for the National Ski team recently said “…it takes 1,000 repetitions for an athlete to master a skill.”  Heck, the average patroller is lucky to get in 500 runs during a year.  You can only focus on one or two elements in a run.  If you’re good, you’ll do it right once or twice mixed with some not so good efforts.  That means its going to take you at least two years to master a technique.  Assuming you know what to fix.

I don’t know everything so I turn to AASI instructors to help me along.  I don’t want to waste two years trying to fix something only to find I’m doing it all wrong in the first place.  There’s no “magic pill”.  At the end of a seminar I’m not 100% better.  Probably not even 1% better.  But I do know what to work on.  With the instructors help, by day end, I’ve done it correctly three or four times.  Only 996 left to go.

Sign up now.  Throw out your bad technique and enjoy being in control.  Class size is limited.
