National Young Adults Program April 20, 2008
The NSP Young Adult Patroller
Program is commencing--Recruitment assistance for Young
Adult
Patrollers at Alpine Valley and in
South Central Region, will soon be available..
On Wednesday, March 20th the NSP Board chose the new National Young Adult Patroller
Coordinator. He is Matthew Abbadessa of suburban NYC, a
former member of the NSP
Recruitment/Retention Team...
A plan to assist patrols to recruit young adult patrollers is in the final stages of development.
South Central region is a target region and will be one of
the first to recieve this material.
In
preparing to assist you,
Matt will need the following
information and your help in gathering
it would be greatly appreciated:
1) Selection of a motivated young adult patroller recruiter for the region or perhaps in each patrol.
Do you know of anyone who might be interested to help?
2) An estimate of the number of young adult candidates that each patrol in SCR would like to achieve.
We urgently need this number for program goal setting.
3) Would SCR consider appointing a Young Adult recruiting coordinator?
(As well as a recruiter for
patroller of all ages?)
This is a very exciting time for SCR and NSP... Because we are finally going to get some help in finding
the critcal assistance we need--young, energetic
candidates...
