Continuing Education

Instructors: During the year of your Instructor expiration, you must attend a continuing education class.  If your credentials expire on 12/05 (this year) you must attend a class this year.  There will be two classes, one on the East side and one on the West side.  See the Region Calendar for dates, times and places.

 The outline for the con ed class this year is as follows:

1. What is the 6 pack

2. What is a Quality Instructor
mentoring
remediation

3. Standardization of the basic class
standard written test
standard point system
standard hands on test

4. Individual 6 pack presentation
Share your best OEC teaching tools:
Bring a 6 Pack for one of your favorite skill. Be prepared to do a 10 minute 6 Pack lesson with the focus on the set and a demonstration.

The goal of this exercise is to share a new and fun demonstration of a skill with other instructors. We can all use new tools in our teaching tool chest. If you need equipment or props, please bring them with you.
